Newcastle upon Tyne or simply Newcastle is the 4th largest city of the UK. It is a vivid, dynamic, and creative cosmopolitan city, the name of a castle built in 1080 by William the Conqueror’s eldest son, Robert Curthose. The city campus of Northumbria University is located at the centre of Newcastle. The city of Newcastle upon Tyne is situated in the northeast of England on the north bank of the river Tyne. Together with its neighbouring town Gateshead, on the south bank of river Tyne, they form a single, diverse and extremely vibrant visitor destination and conference venue. It has a world-class culture, vibrant nightlife, award-wining restaurants, inspiring heritage and architecture including fantastic accommodation facilities and shopping. We hope you will join us for a productive CCTA in a wonderful setting. See you in August 2024!
